Having led a global UX organization of 28+ people, I've learned that the best teams don't just perform, they show up for each other, lead with empathy, and actually stop to celebrate what they've accomplished together.
Two passions shape my leadership: travel and building UX organizations, and honestly, they've always felt similar to me. I don't travel to see places. I travel to be in them, trying the local food, and immersing myself in how people actually live, work, and connect. Those experiences made me a better leader and a better designer. If you pay attention to how life really works across cultures, it changes how you build teams and how you listen.
That same curiosity is how I approach technology, too. I stay genuinely hands-on with AI tools because understanding the work from the inside makes me a better leader. The countries below are proof that the curiosity never stops.
